The ONLY thing that keeps my ADHD life ticking over properly. Easy to use for GTD. Takes a bit of setup but best to do it task by task as you come across it. I now have a complex set of tasks for my everyday life that I no longer need to stress or fuss over as it will pop up when it’s ready to be done.
Tasks can be allocated contexts with Open/Closed hours on it, so if you want a task to appear before 8:30 AM then again after 5:00 PM so your eyes aren’t assaulted by reams of tasks to sort through, it’s possible with MLO. I highly recommend it. 💖

⭐ You can create an entire set of tasks for a process and block relevant tasks in the process until ones before it are done. e.g. if you have "Decide paint colour", "Buy paint", "Paint bedroom walls", you can block the tasks in such a way that only the tasks that can be done now are visible → so you won’t see "Buy paint" until "Decide paint colour" has been ticked off.

⭐ If you have jobs with numerous steps that are repeated (like organising kids’ birthday party or travelling etc.) you can save the process, along with any task blocks and timings etc. as templates that can be resurrected in a couple of clicks.

If you like detail, but don’t like getting lost in it, don’t like missing things and don’t enjoy wasting time and energy manually sorting through tasks and lists to keep on top of things, this could be for you too. It’s more of a tool to improve personal effectiveness and efficiency than for teams and it’s worked for me.

Like the Review function! MLO is so extensive, yet without appearing overloaded. A sophisticated solution for organizing tasks and projects with a functional, stripped down design and all the functions you could wish for. To list them here would go beyond the scope, I particularly like the "Review" function, which (regularly) reminds me to check certain things without having to create a task for it. Bordering on perfection!

Reliability, versatility, and effectiveness. As a long-term user of the My Life Organized app on both Android and Windows platforms, I can say that it has been indispensible to the way I manage my life. I use it for its ability to seamlessly implement the GTD methodology. The app provides a comprehensive platform that enables users to capture, organize, and prioritize their tasks and projects. Highly Recommended!

MLO gives me piece of mind. Ever since I discovered your app I’m a huge fan of it. So much so that through my enthusiasm my wife also got convinced to use it for her own tasks. We also use it to manage our family life.

MLO is just so versatile for the most complex configurations yet simple if you just need a to-do list. I can’t tell you how much easier it makes my life by taking so much off my shoulders. As a matter of fact when it stopped working last Thursday I felt my stress level rise instantly.

I don’t know if it is healthy to offload all of ones tasks to a digital system. However, I do know and feel how much more peace of mind it gives me compared to my frenzy life before using MLO.
And on top of it your customer service is just incredible!

I can’t put in words the value I get from the app in the form of peace of mind. Its greatest strength for me is the app’s extrem customizability: Almost everything can be tailored to ones needs. It prioritizes, sorts and displays my tasks the way I want it. On top the customer service is just superb: the few issues I had so far were resolved in one or two days (even during the war!). Thanks to the whole MLO team. You built an awesome product.

Super highly customizable to-do app in every way you can think of... I absolutely love this app and use only this app for reminders, notes, voice notes & memos, future tasks like upcoming bills or subscriptions. I highly recommend this task management app to anyone looking to organize anything.

Next level projects app. MLO has changed my view of planning apps. The app gets the balance of function versus ease of use right. And, it makes it easy to progressively deploy its richer features in your own time without limiting its usefulness.

A flexible yet very solid tool to help me manage my day-to-day tasks as a researcher. There were times when I abandoned it to try something new (as we always do) but it is one of the very few apps to which I keep returning. It just fits my needs so well. I hope it will stay around for a very long time (I have 17 years to go until retirement).

Software is mature and stable and yet still being refined regularly. Depth, customization and OS/platform interoperability are unmatched. Variety of ways to efficiently capture information on front end, and powerful tracking/assessment options once info is in the system. Very active community of users sharing knowledge and ideas. MLO is best in breed.

Location reminders by context, project management with progression, dates, widgets, way too much to list. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Combine this with the desktop app and keep track of all your stuff wherever you work. Damn handy and has what you need. Location reminders by context, project management with progression, start / due dates, widgets, way too much to list. ... just have to remember to put your items in here in the first place ;-)

Smart automatic prioritization including task dependencies...even for tasks without explicit due dates? Yes, please! Group/filter those smart priorities by customizable contexts (e.g., @Home)...even in the home screen widget? I feel like I’ve tried just about every to do app out there, and this one is practically flawless.

Unbelievably powerful for GTD. I’ve been a keen user of MLO for 10+ years. I recently moved away from it as I reasoned “surely these other new hot ToDo apps must be better!”. I’ve spent a long time using ToDoist, tried Motion and Amazing Marvin, but I’ve come back to MLO. Examples: I have quick “views” of my todo lists such as: - Prioritising my goals for this week, show me the next thing I have to do, for the context (eg. at home, got 15 mins free) that I’m in - For work, let me use an entirely different profile and list - and in this one, show me each of my current projects and my next action to progress each one.
The key differentiator with MLO is that it provides all these tools - filters, working time, contexts, dependencies, start dates - to hide the tasks that *aren’t* actionable, so as to direct your focus onto the ones that *are*. So you spend less time planning, more time doing. Once you’ve done one, the next actionable task appears - in the right place at the right time. The fact is, with this, I get things done. Which is a key requirement of a productivity app.

A "tree-style" to-do app that fits my style of organizing tasks. I have been looking FOREVER for a "tree-style" to-do app that will allow me to sync across multiple devices, from phone to tablet to PC. I thought I had tried everything until I finally found this one.

I can sync different branches to different google calendars. This was game changing for me! I have been using MLO off and on for several years. I keep going back to it because I’m never been able to find anything else that works as well for me. I am starting to use an online planner (Artful Agenda) and organize my life as I am retiring in 3 weeks. 😊 I started adding my goals for 2023 to MLO and synced my calendar with Artful Agenda which can sync to multiple google calendars. I thought it would be so nice if I could sync items related to the different areas (Projects) I had set up in MLO as a different color in AA. I poked around in MLO and the ability was already there! I can sync different branches to different google calendars. This was game changing for me! Only one of the reasons I am a huge fan of MLO.

Does not require a monthly fee. What I was looking for. It may seem more expensive compared to the competition, but it is a single payment that is amortized in the medium term. It does not require monthly fees and the cloud option is a very cheap fee. In terms of capabilities, it is one of the best.

MLO advantage: task dependency, task start date, hide task that is not available for action. Was a Todoist premium user. Now a MLO Pro user. Todoist - good for casual to do list user, with 200 to do items and below. MLO - good for heavy to do list user, it can hold much more item and yet everything still under control (Todoist can’t do that for me). EDIT 2022: it is recommended to use MLO mobile verison together with Windows version, as its Windows version is best in the class.

The best there is, period. And the MLO google group is awesome! If you are reading this review and have been binge-searching the App Store or wherever to find the perfect one (like I used to do), then your wait is over. Download this app immediately and give it an honest attempt. I promise you, this one is different.

In this user’s opinion, this is the pinnacle of the GTD or personal task management platform. I am relieved to finally stop the incessant search for a platform that allows complete control of data/inputs. Although the iOS app is great and fully functional on its own, I highly recommend pairing it with the desktop client. Using both (and the cloud sync service), MLO checked all the boxes I was looking for in a personal task manager (cross platform b/w Windows and iOS being one). It’s possible that one would think that there’s a steep learning curve in setting yourself up in the software, but I feel like anyone who gets to that point might also sense the boundless potential before them.

PS - The MLO google group is awesome! The users post some really great templates and other little tweaks and add-on content. Also a wealth of troubleshooting advice of course.

Syncing is really good. I do like the ability to sync between my iPhone and windows desktop. The app is nicely organized and customizable. Setting up in the most ideal way for you can take some effort, but it avoids the problems in other tasks managers when your list of items gets large, has interdependencies and truely represents your complicated life.

Simple to set up and powerful to customize. I use the various views to see upcoming, urgent, projects, and smart prioritisation (using multiple factors), and love that it took almost no effort to get started. Custom views enable me to focus on anything I need to see at that time. Supports my need for iOS and Windows clients too. Looking forward to extended watch functionality.

Learning curve involved but well worth the effort. Just started using this on free trial (using Windows Pro version on PC supported by app on iPhone). Setting up GTD system and good support from website and MLO community. Interface looks simple but app itself very powerful and already helping me organise my time better so feeling less stressed! The visual design is sober and clear. Extensive solution for task management, especially in connection with the Windows version. The learning curve is initially high given the numerous setting and linking options. The option of location-based reminders and, particularly praiseworthy, and the one-off payment instead of a subscription is pleasant.

My ADHD keeps it from easily becoming a new habit, but the times that I have touched this app it was like magic. I actually clarified all the things I wanted to do, and making a bunch of sublists for tasks means I can check off more boxes and feel like I’m making more progress and trick my brain into giving me enough dopamine for the task. It’s going to be a bigger part of my life very soon, now that I also put it on my pc.

The only regret? Not having discovered it before! I would have saved time because I tried at least 10 similar apps like Todoist, Trello, Anydo, etc changing them for years and exploring all the functions in search of the holy grail. Finally for the first time I found it, an app that already 6 years ago on ios had the productive features that I always beg to implement to the various supports of the other developers, all intent in their search for useless minimalism and that instead of adding useful functions they remove them.

The Windows app is particularly fully featured. To do/organising apps do not come any better. The flexibility from simple task follower to fully featured project management is unparalelled. The best GTD app. Really a professional application - there is nothing else that comes close at this time. Syncing between platforms and devices is excellent. The Windows app is particularly fully featured. The level of branches and customisable filtering is so needed one wonders why there aren’t more of these type of apps.

I tried ten different tasking apps and this one takes the cake. It’s such an intuitive user interface, very easy to use. Haven’t noticed any bugs or frustrations with it. I love all the options it allows for tasks as well. Create folders and then tasks within the folders and sub tasks with in the tasks. View your tasks in calendar mode. Create separate profiles. I have a personal one for groceries, chores, etc. and then I have another profile set up for my online sewing business. I use it to track inventory, orders, and projects to stay on task. The flow is seamless as far as my use for it. Spacebar to create a sub task, backspace to make another parent level task. Place efforts, time needed, due dates, etc. I currently have nothing bad to say about this app. I wish my real “daytime” IT departmental job used this instead of the one we currently use, Thats how much I like it. Do yourself a favor. Try the free trial. Then you’ll be hooked.

Overall 10/11 - I would give it 11 if it did the work for me. Very helpful for work and personal projects. It really helps for the repetitive task that may only get done every 1 or months. The reminders help big time to keep you informed of what is coming up and what you have procrastinated, you know we all do it. Also if you have kids. It’s great to make chore lists for them also to keep track of what they should be doing. Overall. Big time saver and takes stress off of being unsure if you did what needs to be done.

UPD: MLO still my Goto app for really getting things done. Actually, the windows version is absolutely the best most versatile tool I’ve ever used - and I’ve used many. Desktop version acts as master task manager, while my smartphone is my collecting tool. For a long time I’ve been searching for an App that can be my centralized/master task manager. The massive pros in MLO is it’s multilevel/hierarchy feature. This can be very helpful, especially for people who struggle to take action, with the unlimited ability to subtask we can break a big/difficult task into smaller-actionable ones while preserving the big picture.

Its true that to be productive we need at least have one reliable productivity system, my system is based on ZenToDone, with the key concept of focus on doing things and collecting any incoming thoughts into inbox, MLO helps tremendously.

You never really outgrow it. The problem with most other task manager apps is that as your needs change over time, you bump up against their limitations, eventually forcing a painful migration to a new app. MLO is sufficiently powerful and flexible that this never occurs. As such your investment in buying, customizing, and mastering MLO really pays off.

MLO does what it promises: it gives you an effective tool to organize the things you need to do. A great feature is the ability to cloud sync between multiple devices. This means no matter where I am I can keep my task list up to date. No more little postits scattered in multiple sites. The programs can be easily learned and yet has a lot of depth to be mastered over time. I have used for quite a few years and highly recommend.

This app has helped me to stay on track. I’ve been struggling with organizing my private and business life for years and this app has helped me to stay on track. I’ve been using it a few years ago and after trying so many other apps I finally returned and purchased the pro app because I haven’t found anything that could meet my needs as well as this app. If I put an effort to type in my tasks it offers me templates to put my tasks into contexts and it gives me examples how to organize and be more productive. Highly recommend!

MLO is actively being developed with useful features being added all the time. I’ve been using MLO for years. MLO is not for someone who wants a simple ToDo list. With MLO you can accurately track massive projects from different areas of your life and break each project down into tasks and subtasks as small as you like. If other ToDo apps cant comfortably manage your project’s or your life’s complexity, Don’t worry, MLO can with ease. MLO is actively being developed with useful features being added all the time. Once I was introduced to MLO, I literally lost my weekend setting up my task list. Love to organize with it! My IT guy turned me on to this app as a gift and I cannot love on it enough! I was all about To Do Lists, but hated paper. Wanted to go 100% digital, but no digital To Do List worked like my brain...master task with multiple smaller tasks in priority order, for example. Once I was introduced to MLO, I literally LOST my Mother’s Day weekend setting up just my work life list! I now have work life and personal life lists set up and the app sits prominently on my home screen (no burying this app in a folder!!). I recommend this app to everyone! Peace, Sarah

I have a mishmash of different techniques that I’ve incorporated into my own system. MLO can be highly customized as you see fit. I’m happy to recommend MLO. It can be as simple or as powerful as you wish it to be.

I used other apps for years and begged them for task dependencies. MLO is the answer to my prayers! This software is truly the best GTD app out there, easily beating the competition. I know because I have gone through the pain of using the others for years. Finally!

MLO goes far beyond other classical task management apps and to-do-lists available for Android. MLO goes far beyond other classical task management apps and to-do-lists available for Android. The sophisticated mechanics behind it are on the first sigth plentiful, but technically minded people and skilled project managers will appreciate the detailed possibilites like nested contexts, open/closed time windows, infinite number of subtask levels, location based reminders, folder tasks, sequential vs concurrents subtasks, elaborate recurrence options. etc. Don’t get beaten on the first use! The price seems somewhat high, but compared to other cloud-based task & work management tools like Todoist, Toodledo, Nozbe, Asana, Wrike, BaseCamp, Teamwork, etc. who all ask for a considerable monthly or yearly fee, it is justified. The android app is a true native app and not just a mobile WebGUI like some of the alternative cloud based services. Also the windows desktop client works fine. It is to be hoped, the developers keep up their pace adding new innovative features who make task management a breeze and allow for a high personal productivity. If you are looking for a solid, robust task manager and your are serious about yourself, MLO is certainly one of the top candidates!

This app is saving my life! I have Autism Spectrum Disorder aka Asperger’s and this is the only way I can manage my adult life. Helps me clearly organize To-Dos and plan projects on the fly without cluttering my brain or making me over-process stuff I don’t need to besides key info for task/due date/reminders. I’ve been looking for an all in one app that uses the Getting Things Done (GTO) method, this follows it PERFECTLY. Speech to inbox feature is SUPER helpful on the go.10/10 recommend!!!

Crazy amount of features for work and home projects. Very impressed with Andrey and the team. I’ve been using the product for about 8 years now on desktop and about 3 years on mobile. I keep track all the projects I have for work and home. Crazy amount of features that u use every day but also easy to hide all the complexity for those starting out. Not sure how I would manage without it

So grateful for what MLO team has done. This software helped me change my life and work and continually helps me improve many things in my life because I can manage almost everything with just this software. I have tried dozens of other softwares but nothing has come close to MLO. I’m so proud of the creators of this software and so grateful for what they have done. Thank you so much MLO team.

Reasonably priced and is a one time purchase! This is really very good. I have tried the all, even apps from the likes of Omnifocus, but I find MLO to fit perfect with my work flow, especially that it’s also available on Windows 10.

It’s fast and stable, intuitive to use and helps me to GTD without hassle.

Another major and significant benefit is that it’s reasonably priced and is a one time purchase!!!

Why choose other task planner app when you have MLO?! One day I asked my CEO friend if he tried some planning apps. He said: “Why do you need all this startup apps when you can use MLO?!”

I tried many other productivity apps and can assure you that there are no any real competitors to MLO.

In MLO you can set up everything just as you need. It has simple yet powerful configuration options for GTD, Agile results or any other system you can think of.

With the all new features on iOS I can add the reminder when I am on workout using Siri and have it on my desktop in seconds when I am back at my computer.

New version of MLO is iOS 13 shortcuts ready. You can add tasks quickly from home screen, or your watches.

Definitely worth the price. One of the best task management solutions and much more sophisticated than most of them. It is quite expansive compared to some other popular apps, especially you need separate licenses for Windows app, Android app and cloud synchronization service BUT.... it definitely worth the price. I have read a lot of reviews and tested most of the apps available but this one works the best for me :)

Gotta say, the flexibility and customizability of MLO really satisfies my power-user needs. I’ve tried MANY other platforms (Todoist, Asana, Smartsheet, Trello, etc.) and have probably read a cumulative 15+ hours of forums & articles about MLO, in addition to having purchased the pro premium for desktop a half year ago or so. MLO has, so far, been the best platform for me.

Don’t get me wrong, there are certainly a couple things I’d change, mainly regarding the time functionality and how Goals operate (still delving into this one myself), but this platform is definitely what I’m looking for.

Good luck out there!

Still the best. This app is in a league of it’s own. January 2020: Still loving MLO. I use it cross platform with the MLO sync service. Flawless performance. Written in 2017: Still feel100% this is the best of class in organization and produci ity apps. Across mobile platforms, cloud sync, and powerful windows desktop. One of the very few apps I’m still using daily 6 years later. Written in 2011: Best app of its kind. Stands easily on it’s own. When paired with the desktop app and cloud sync it’s phenomenal!

Most versatile and complete task manager. I tried many task managers and found MLO to be the most versatile and complete task manager around. The following are a few of the things I like the most about MLO (Pro version):

- dependencies (you can set a task dependent on another and that task then won’t show up in your active task list until the parent task has been completed),
- statistics,
- integration with calendar,
- the overall clean look and ease of entering a task, being able to email tasks to the inbox with Cloud sync,
- progress bars for projects,
- lots of options to customize.

The developers also have a very nice website with lots of support options and they keep on improving the app. The desktop version is awesome, too.

Once I tried MLO I knew I was home. As others, I have tried Omni Focus, ToDoist, Remember the Milk, Wunderlist, IQTell,...all if them.
While MLO might look overwhelming, the beauty in this is that it will do what we you want. Normally you have to tailor your workflow around the GTD app. In this case, users can get as creative as they would like and make it happen using MLO. I use it in my phone, iPad, and on my work and personal laptop. Everything stays synched. If you want to control your scene I suggest you give this a try.

Very well thought out app that contains many options to get it the way I want it. A little update.....
Wow! This is the single most comprehensive ios app I have had the fortune to come across....seriously.....I am regular user of gtd and a fan of Omnifocus. But in comparison OF seems almost primitive ... starting to see the depth and thought put into mlo.....thanks to the dev for a wonderful and useful app.

Early days but so far I am impressed, as I am a gtd fan this is just great - very well thought out app and contains many options to get it the way I want it. Only one thing I am not a fan of the subscription syncing, but I feel it is worth it for a very mature multi platform system.

Read through the documentation to full customize your experience. If you just install this app and start using it as a to-do organizer, it is very easy and simple to do. However, you should really take the time to read through the documentation and understand all of the features to full customize your experience. I had been using MLO for months before taking the time to read about all of its true capabilities, and wish I had done so earlier! Cross-platform, multi-device cloud sync is superb. This is a great tool and has really helped me improve my organizational habits!

Detailed filters and customisable views make it very easy to find your way around a big list of tasks. The current version of MLO has features which don’t even exist on the desktop version, including a timeline-style view, combining tasks and calendar events. It also has a very powerful search, detailed filters and customisable views, making it very easy to find your way around a big list of tasks. The navigation is a joy to use. Development is active, with new features arriving in free updates.

Awarded the full five stars as one of my most-used apps and the most flexible and powerful task manager out there. It’s well worth paying for the Pro upgrade and the desktop app.

The mobile version is the icing on the cake. Arguably the best productivity app ever made. Couple it with the desktop app and it is unbeatable. I have been using the desktop app for more than 8 years now and the mobile version is the icing on the cake. If you are just looking at the mobile version, you may not realise it’s full potential. The desktop MLO rates as one of the best productivity software out there. Cloud sync makes it truly mobile.

MLO & Siri is WONDERFUL I have used My Life Organized (MLO, or "my lo") for 6 yrs over various platforms. When, earlier this year, I moved to iPhone from Android, I had downloaded the MyLO app. But it didn’t seem to be as convenient as the Siri Notes and Reminder apps. We all know that when using a time/project management system, Importance, Urgency and Context are what truly make it work effectively; using the Apple based lists and appt. apps with Siri was easy but not useful. When I heard that MyLO had Siri service, I jumped on it and haven’t looked back. It’s great! I keep MyLO open in the background. Just "hey Siri. Remind me to call Mom tonight when at home" and the verbal command is first, briefly, stored in the Reminder app, then quickly moved to my . The entry is complete, with the Due Date and Context already set. It has completely freed me from any ’temporary’ or ’intermediate’ paper notes. I could not be more pleased. Thank you.

Indispensable. With excellent customer support. This is the one app I really wouldn’t do without. I can’t praise it highly enough. It is flexible enough to allow you to work in way that suits you, rather than being prescriptive as is the case with so many other similar apps.

I use the version for iPad the most, but the ability to synchronise via cloud (for a small monthly payment) means that I can access my information on phone or computer as well. I should add that the cloud synchronisation is entirely optional, so anyone who wants to use MLO 3 on just one device doesn’t need to pay.

It is very easy to use, and also elegant.

Really, I can’t praise it enough!

Also, the customer support is excellent. Whether it’s a question relating to installation, or (just recently) a problem with syncing, I’ve always had a helpful response within 24 hours, and usually sooner.

I love the way MLO integrates with Siri and the iPad’s reminders...such an effortless way of adding tasks by voice. You can also set up and email and simply send tasks to it.

It is still highly recommended...wouldn’t bother with anything else for tasks and outlining.

Invest some time to set it up to your needs, but once this is done there is no turning back. As a productivity addict I‘ve tried all sorts of ToDo apps over the years, but became frustrated at some point, because the apps did not adapt to my very personal workflow... until I came across MLO. I manage everything with MLO (since approx. 2014): tasks, projects, even relationships (think CRM), both personal and for my business. You can create workspaces, different views of your tasks (e. g. for GTD-like next actions), sync your tasks across devices and with Google Calendar, create task dependencies, formatting rules, recurring reviews... and so on. It‘s simply the most flexible and adaptable and therefore best ToDo app I‘ve used so far.

The more I use it the more I learn about additional functionality. Very flexible program to use for a simple grocery list or complex project. I’ve been using this for nearly 10 years and the more I use it the more I learn about additional functionality and features. But more importantly you can use the basic features right out of the gate with very little instruction. I’m a lifetime user.

A great combination of Covey, GTD and whatever else you want to use! Takes a bit of time to learn to use but absoultely awesome! Best advice I can give is to watch videos on what it *can* do and then be determined to figure out how. Also, download their user document from their website. I would have walked away had I not known it *could* do all the things it can. Hard to find where settings are/how to use. It is amazingly powerful!! But, only after you really figure it out!

Excellent for organizing in the GTD style of David Allen. I have been using this application for several years. It is excellent for organizing in the GTD style of David Allen, although it serves for the mode of organization that one wishes. Before, it was difficult for me to synchronize Windows with Android but with the support received I no longer have that problem. Successes and it was a correct choice.

Have come back to MLO. I’m using the features in a far more focused way now and finding it fantastic. I used MLO for a around a year, before moving to try Trello for a bit. This week have come back to MLO and am finding it fantastic. I think I got too carried away trying to use every feature the first time, which made managing things quite hard. So I switched to Trello as it was simpler. Have come back, and using the features in a far more focused way - which is working really well. Also MLO 5 has a nice modern feel compared with 4. And thanks for the super-prompt support.

With all the customization and support for all devices they are the king of GTD on mobile devices. This is the true Omnifocus replacer for anyone going to Android. It has the made for GTD feel with the added high level customization to incorporate added systems or a new one altogether. The Active Actions and the ability to create custom views surpasses the Perspectives from Omni as well. Between the "dependencies" option, Google Calendar sync, and "hide the branch in To-Do" option to name a few there’s almost no limit to the level of detail you can get into if you want. The widget allows you to see any task list which is so much better than seeing badges on iPhones. I have also contacted customer support and they responded quickly, answered my questions, and were very professional and polite. With all the customization and support for all devices they passed Omnifocus as the king of GTD on mobile devices.

The only software that shows you the answer to the question ’what can I do right now?’. Being something of a productivity junkie I was resigned to never finding the optimum software as I have to use Windows at work and it seemed all the best personal productivity software was for the Mac. Then I found this app! It deserves to be far more famous than it is. It’s unbelievably flexible, supports all sorts of fields, alerts, contexts, and has the best implementation of dependencies I’ve ever seen by far. It really is the only software I’ve seen that shows you the answer to the question ’what can I do right now?’. With such power comes complexity and it must be said there are apps that are prettier and easier to use. But if you want sheer productivity full-time power in managing your tasks and need to use Windows as well then this is pretty much the only one worth looking at that I’ve seen. Compared to other apps it may seem the pro mode is really expensive - but if you need something with this power that works with a (separately purchased) windows client it will be well worth it to you. Omnifocus is the nearest comparison I’ve seen which costs a similar amount. I know from their blog that there’s a new version coming up, which puts some more features of thr windows client into this app, as right now it doesn’t support every feature

As my GTD practice has evolved and matured, so has MLO. I’ve tried many tools over the past decade to support my GTD practice. MLO is the only tool I’ve found that supports GTD in every way, across all my devices, different operating systems, and different connectivity scenarios. One of the most appealing aspects of MLO is in its flexibility. The very supportive user community around this product has been stellar!

It makes your todo list work just like you want it. If you want to have projects in projects, to be able to have actions that have to be complete in order, tasks to only start on a certain date - it has it all. But the killer feature I love, is that it pulls all this information together to give you a really simple view of what you can be working on now. Awesome.

So many powerful options while keeping the fundamentals easy and accessible. Works elegantly with a variety of methodologies. Synchronization with the superlative desktop software is seamless. Takes thought to set up well, then fits like a glove. Tasks can have sub tasks with any depth of nesting needed. Tasks can be grouped as projects or in folders. Urgency and importance can be entered in relation to parent project. Stars, flags, text tags, custom views with filtering, grouping, and custom formatting easily available. Sync iPad and iPhone apps easy via cloud subscription.

It understands the difference between Parallel and Sequential subtasks. MyLifeOrganized is the only task management app I have found really up to the task. (Get it?) It understands the concept of Next Actions, hiding non-next actions in a to-do overview if so desired. It also understands the difference between Parallel and Sequential subtasks, which is crucial for Next Actions to actually work. Also equipped with a Review view, MLO allows for true GTD task management, with many, many additional options for customisation. Do be aware that purchase of the Pro version of this app activates on the Android client only. Subscription to MLO Cloud is optional, as is buying the Pro version of the Desktop Client. The upside of this is that the team behind MLO is actively developing for all of these platforms, which probably would not have been possible for them without charging per client. Each of them is a different piece of software after all, fully tailored to get the max out of its platform.

Many options to sort and group tasks and convenient navigation. I tried many mobile apps for time management and task lists. The design is focused on making things you do very often accessible with the least amount of taps. If you are serious about personal task management, you need to check this out. This is the big guns. What I like best about this is how much you can tweak and bend it to work with your personal system. The one big thing that is alone worth the money is that it only shows you what you can do right now instead of all the 144 items on your list. I also like how the design is focused on making things you do very often accessible with the least amount of taps. Synchronization with the desktop app works perfectly and both in combination help me to stay on top of my game.

Easily the most powerful, flexible & reliable task manager. The latest update added some welcome UI improvements and tweaks. My progress in migrating all my projects to MLO continues and I still haven’t run across anything that it can’t do, relative to all the other task management apps available (and yes, I’ve tried them ALL, though I am no longer renewing subscriptions to most of them, because they’re just too limiting for my needs). It’s the only one that will do it all: excellent (subscription-based) Cloud sync, multiple levels of folders, projects, tasks & sub-tasks (finally, somebody who spends more time developing a solution than trying to tell me how not to manage my projects!), multiple contexts and flags, very smart and capable filters and views, notes that I can search even after the task/project is marked complete (who doesn’t need history?), you name it, the kitchen sink is here in this app.

It’s not perfect, but they’re also very actively developing it, and their support almost always refreshingly responds with “we’re working on that” or “we’ve put that on our list”, rather than “we don’t do that”. It includes a lot of things nobody else does at all, much less very well.

The most robust implementation of recurring tasks, unlimited Outline depth, auto prioritization of the flat todo lists, on and on. This is really a review of the Windows desktop client + iOS version in tandem.
For years, I have gone back and forth with MLO, Omnifocus, Things, Todoist, and others. Recently I tried Things 3 and while gorgeous, I miss the power user features. Omnifocus again never seems to stick with me for very long, something about the UI always grinds me to a hault.
So now with Parallels 13 & Windows 10, MLO runs in a VM almost flawlessly, though I still wish for a native MLO Mac app.
That all being said, nothing holds a candle to the feature set in MLO if you are a power user. Sequential tasks and even dependencies across the entire Outline, Project status/management, Workspaces, views, filters, flags, stars, by far the most robust implementation of recurring tasks, unlimited Outline depth, auto prioritization of the flat todo lists via optional computed score of relative dates, Importance, Urgency etc. Also, the most configurable custom views, with unlimited depth for boolean logic and custom grouping and sorting. Great location based reminders on mobile, full outline support on mobile, on and on.

My favorite part are contexts. I am constantly going in 100 directions. I own 2 businesses and find this tool is great for keeping track of dozens of the important mini-projects. If I have some time in the office I look at the tasks that I need to do from my office. In the car? Make calls. At customer x? Ask about that thing. Etc.

This app has been a total game changer for me! My boss, a long-term Matthews there, was switching to a PC and was worried about how she would manage her tasks without being able to use Omni focus (she is a long-term user of this system). When she explained to me what she was looking for, I started searching for an alternative. I found it in my life organized! I was so excited about the functionality and offered, I downloaded it and started using it myself. I love the user friendly design and especially the ability to sync tasks directly from my email to my MML out to do list. I love how easy it is to change The order of tasks and easily in bed one task in another as a sub task. This app has been a total game changer for me! It is easy, smooth, and exactly what I’ve been looking for to stay on top of everything that needs to get done in my very busy life!

For personal and business MLO is a good to-do app for complex lives. I use to track my personal life and all the to-do’s for my multiple clients. I’ve found that no other apps match both it’s ease of use and flexibility.

Multiplatform, synching is seamless. The BEST there is! I’ve tried many, many other task organizers, and MLO is simply the best in existence. I’ve been using MLO on other platforms for years. Of extreme importance to me is MLO’s support for multiple platforms, so I can add a task on one device or PC, and it will sync to ALL of my other devices and PCs. The synching is seamless. The ability to have multiple levels of tasks, i.e. subtasks below a parent task, and so on, is just one more of many capabilities that sets this organizer so far apart from the rest.

Love the ability to customize filters and add to a task effort, importance, urgency, and much more. MyLifeOrganized is the best to-do-list app. It has many functions that allow you to better manage all the activities in outlines. It’s really the most complete of all. I love the ability to customize filters and the ability to add useful informations ti each task as effort, importance, urgency, and much more. I can’t live without MLO anymore! Thanks for this beautiful software!

Extremely fairly prices. I love MLO. It features hierarchical structures, allowing for multiple levels of details. For example, clean the house can have sub-tasks for every room, the kitchen can have sub-tasks for cabinets, counter, trash, etc. The Cloud service is extremely fairly prices, at less than $2 per month, which is in line with the service offered. The Android App features location-based reminders which is very handy, for example if you pass by the store it can remind you to buy milk. I bought both Pro editions for both Windows and Anrdoid, which is not the cheapest, but it’s a single purchase instead of a higher monthly fee.

Hidden gem! After moving from Android to iOS I wanted to take full advantage of the excellent app integration of the iOS system while having a Windows machine and not a Mac. The software really allows for very advanced customization using the many available field and complex logic allowed in the filtering options. The software does not lock me into one productivity method or another but allows for dynamic evolution as productivity methods change. It’s great that it is available on iOS and Windows. The dedicated cloud sync is fast and reliable as is the Outlook sync function. In summary, I’ve tested other apps and found this software to be a truly inadequately lauded gem.

It gives you very multiple options. The application is powerful in the sense of the word, the best application in terms of recording, organizing, classifying and dividing tasks and activities and determining their priority, time, and time ..., giving you very multiple options.

The level of control this app gives you is outstanding and unparalleled. I absolutely love MLO. I tried it for a while when I was first learning GTD but wasn’t ready to take the plunge (MLO is more complicated than other to do apps). After maybe a year or more with Todoist and having also looked around at other to do apps, I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that MLO is exactly what I want and, frighteningly, it’s the only app out there like it. It’s an app for people who are truly serious about task management, about getting their lives under control. The level of control this app gives you is outstanding and unparalleled. Please give this exceptionally well crafted app a try! You will be impressed. Give it a few months... And read GTD. Edit 7/25/18: I’m still using MLO and I still love it to death. Hands down the best to do app available. A diamond in the rough for sure.

Once you understand the concepts, you’ll love it MLO has been my favorite task outliner/to do list program for several years now and the functionality just received a boost in version 2 for Android. Although I love the app, I will say that I wish there was a dark theme (for the Windows desktop as well!) and that the app truly synced with all features. One feature that I love about MLO 4 for Windows that came to MLO 2 is worskspaces. However, instead of created workspaces in the desktop program and having it sync to MLO 2 for Android, you have to set up workspaces on each device that you install MLO onto. Other than that, MLO 2 makes working on projects and tasks easy. I highly recommend it. The learning curve is pretty high but once you understand the concepts as to how it works and what it’s doing, I think you’ll love it.

MLO helps manage multiple projects. I am currently using MLO to keep track of and prioritize no less that 15 different projects and their sub-stream dependencies. This program is extremely easy and quick to use and I especially love the alarm and reminder features. They help keep everything on track.

It’s very deep but everything is logical. This app is very well thought out and nothing seems redundant.

The key feature is the hierarchy which is extremely logical and doesn’t limit it you in how to arrange folders, project, tasks etc. This also means that you should have an idea of how you want to use it because it’s so powerful and doesn’t really push you into using it in any specific way as many other apps do (which may be better if you just want to make some basic flat lists.) Thanks for a great app! Keep up the good work!

Every minute details that I wanted in a task management app is in here. I just don’t know what to say...cause I know... anything I say won’t be sufficient enough. This app is a life saviour. I mean...every minute details that I wanted in a task management app is in here. I tried Tick Tick a while ago. I liked it, but I wasn’t that easy to make subtasks in that and you can’t really break those subtasks again. A lot of gratitute for the devs!

BEST tasks management, Outliner or GTD app! I’ve been trying those kind of apps for years. I finally found the best one. Perfect balance between simple/fast and powerful with more in-depth features if needed. Very responsive team, thanks for answering my comment so fast. This app is the BEST even when one has hundreds of tasks or more and want things to be simple, yet it has all the GTD features, allowing one to isolate the desired group of tasks. Drag-and-drop is the way to go for reordering tasks. So many other (sometimes much more expensive) apps don’t get that. One doesn’t want to spend more time entering and reordering tasks then doing them! This app is simple, efficient & powerful.

MLO does have a learning curve, but the time spent can save you countless hours later. I have been using MLO as my GTD system for 3 years now, and I love it!!!! I can not image life without it. I tried several GTD systems prior to MLO but this was the most customizable and flexible and the only app that was useable across all of my needs. With a busy consulting business, several rental properties to manage, frequent coast to coast travel, vacations, storage management, family and social engagements and dates/gifts to remember, and multiple educational and personal projects to manage, I need a system that allows me to "capture" tasks and ideas on the fly (walking down the ramp to board a plane), keep my entire todo list organized and easily reviewed, keep deadlines and top priorities visible with alerts and calander views, manage contexts (what can I do with 15 minutes to spare at the airport? My @Airport context list on MLO!) sync seamlessly between desktop and phone, remind/alert me when I drive by (my storage unit, Trader Joes, Home Depot, Staples, etc...) of something I need to pick up, and so much more. MLO is not the most visually attractive system out there, but ultimately I chose functionality over form and I am pleased to see that MLO is constantly improving. If you need to simplify and manage a highly complex life, I HIGHLY recommend MLO.

Nothing else even comes close ***Update 2018 - I now have an Apple Watch and use MLO on there as well. I’d be lost without this program! *** I’ve been using MLO since 2006 - on my computers, PDAs, smartphones, iPhone.... If you’re new to MLO and find it a bit overwhelming as a phone app - I highly recommend having the desktop version for the initial setup of your thousands of things. I do the main organizing there and sync to my phone for daily execution of tasks and to add a quick task or two. I’ve tried a bunch of other programs, but they were always lacking some feature that MLO has. Every aspect of my life is in this program. This is my one must have program for which there is no substitute. There’s a great user forum and the support over the years has been awesome!

It has the made for GTD feel with the added high level customization.

You can view your Google Calendar items in MLO and vice versa. This app is really build in a professionnal way. Unlike many other todo apps, it strongly focus on managing your tasks and projects, without any useless functionnality. What i really like is the way calendar is managed. You can view your google calendar in MLO and you can share any task you want in your calendar.

Love that the daily view shows both your tasks and calendar events. This is an excellent app and so much more than just a to-do list. I have only been using MLO for a few weeks and have found it invaluable for organising tasks and projects, and I love the fact that the daily view in Android shows both your tasks and calendar events - this is functionality so often missing from planning apps. Sync using the cloud works really well, and you can view your data in lots of different ways. I am still reading the manual and I suspect there is lots of stuff I am still not using to its full potential, but that is the strength of this app - you can use it as a simple task list or you can take advantage of its much more powerful functionality.

I have consolidated other apps into this app by creating my own workspaces and views. I started with mlo back in 2011. At first it was too much, but has since become the cornerstone of planning. With the ability to be a long term planner, short term planner, brainstorming tool, and note keeper all in one, it is a superior app compared to others. I have consolidated Google keep, trellis, and todoist into this app by creating my own workspaces and views. There are basic features if you don’t need much, and very detailed features if you’re a power user.

MLO Impresses! MLO has truly evolved! Having returned as a beta tester, and having made a New Year’s resolution to more fully use MLO for my personal and professional lives, I set off to explore the present MLO feature set. I was favorably stunned. I last explored MLO down to the nuts and bolts a long time ago. MLO has truly evolved. My first "beta" impression was the difference between "then" and "now." For example, "reminders" and "review" gives MLO the ability to talk to you. A good to do list is relatively worthless if you have to remember to open it... My purpose for seeking out MLO years ago was to find a thought outliner, a project tracker, a comprehensive todo list, and a life manager, which was easy, comfortable, and not burdensome to use. I initially and always have found MLO to be just that. MLO always seemed to be underappreciated for how it can be used. I am/have been a lawyer, mediator, court administrator, dispute resolution program designer, educator, trainer, and author. Each role has very different angles and dimensions. I have been fortunate to have viewed my profession from so many perspectives. My life, like everyone’s, has been also multi-dimensional. The point is that MLO has universal application, even if the ways vary by the field or experience. FYI, as to use as an thought outliner, it would be nice to have a way to number and sub-number items... Anyway, I have been silent on finding bugs since coming back. What I have found is an appreciation for have MLO has evolved. This best metaphor is like raising your own children. You see them every day - the incremental changes are less apparent to you than to a visiting relative who has not seen the children for a good while.

It allows you to decompose tasks at any level. The only application for which I paid money (I earn my living with computer science). It allows you to decompose tasks at any level. It is divided into 2 ’zones’: the planning area and the resolution zone. Contexts are large groupings of tasks (which allows you to include priorities). Summary: it gives me life!

MLO is the best GTD app I am experienced GTD apps user. I’ve tested many apps and services providing GTD methodology. And I want to say that MLO is the best approving GTD methodology. MLO’s unanswerable advantages are the following: Embedded projects creation, which allows you to execute projects of any complexity. Subtasks tasks , which allows you to concretize subtasks for the most complicated tasks. Folders, which allow you to group tasks in folders.

Magic! If I had a magical device that would tell me exactly what to do every minute of the day, I would be happy. MLO is the next best thing. It has the functionality to implement GTD and other systems but with the added benefits of a superior system for planning and collecting projects and goals (the outline) and a continuously reprioritized to do list. It’s easily the best task management software out there.

The power comes from the dual-view: an outline for planning and a flat-list for doing. MLO is one of the premier task managers currently available. Its only real peer is Omni (which is also fantastic). But if you’re stuck with Windows at work like I am, then MLO is without question the best. The power comes from the dual-view: an outline for planning and a flat-list for doing. The flexibility of MLO can make it intimidating at first - there is definitely a steep learning curve - but once you learn it, the tool disappears into the background an you’re able to just use it. All the details you need are here to organize and execute single tasks to complicated endeavors: Projects, Sub-projects, Tasks, Sub-tasks (nest as deep as you want), recurrences, start date & due date, dependencies, contexts, priority, urgency, importance, flags, stars, filters, views, zoom, powerful incremental search, quick task entry, etc... The iPhone app is probably fine as a standalone but I’d recommend pairing it with the Windows app. My work can be sensitive, so having the Wifi sync with MLO keeps my data safely off the cloud.

Finally a task manager that makes sense! I have used this for three years and it just gets better. The options allow you complete control but they also keep you on task and weed out the clutter. If I need intricate detail, it’s there. If I just want a task list or due dates, it’s there. If I want repeating reminders, it’s there. Anything you can image a task program doing, THIS does! Love that it syncs between mobile and desktop. Amazing program to use and I highly recommend!!! Give yourself time to imagine how you like to sort your "stuff" and I guarantee MLO can accommodate you!

I use MLO offline for organizing projects, tracking sales orders and customer deliverables. As a busy Business Development person, I use MLO as my go-to App to organize my travel and appointments, track sales orders and organize project milestones, as well as track customer deliverables. Our company SalesForce.com iPad App only works when there is connectivity, and even then is very slow. So I use MLO as my offline SFDC companion to save time and eliminate paper. For instance, I set up my meeting planners in SFDC. During the customer meeting I take all of my notes and set up deliverables in MLO while I’m customer-facing. That saves me time. I can then easily copy and paste everything into SFDC later. Not only does MLO allow me to eliminate paper scratch pads (and the constant problem of losing my notes. LOL!), but now my notes and deliverables are easy to archive and find in MLO. Not to mention, I can copy and re-use notes between customers, and have set-up project templates that I re-use over and over, saving me time. I love this App!

Absolutely great, life-changing tool. A few years I worked with omnifocus and I searched a few months for something like that with a windows version. I tested many programs, but most failed already at the basic features. Than I found MLO; I think use about 25% of the program – there are so many features and not everyone uses the same workflow and not every feature is important for everyone. One of the best features of MLO is that you can individualize it in so many ways – you can build your own views, icons, formating rules. I’m sure, if you look at the customized MLOs of 10 users you’ll see 10 different work flows. There is absolutely no (useful) feature another ToDo-software has and MLO don’t. When you look at the pricing, it seems much – and it is. But I work so much with MLO; on my phone, on my computer, so that it is more than worth it. For myself, MLO is worth it – I use it daily and it helps me in so many ways in every aspect of my life. The only point of criticism is, that using the cloud should be for free, I paid for the phone-app, I paid for the windows version, that should be enough.

I turned complex multiple unrelated projects into a simple "grocery list" I’m amazed that even now after using MLO over two years, I’m discover new ways to use it that enhance my productivity.
For a long time, I’ve been doing multiple project each of which have their own task list. That’s certainly doable, but at the same time, you lose sight of the big picture and ToDo items tend to get lost in outlines. Well...today, remembered that ToDos can be flattened. I knew that before, but I returned to that view for the first time in over a year. It simplifies complex project to down to the level of grocery list! Massively improves my focus on simply checking off each task.

It allows me to be as simple or complex as I need to be. Been looking for a good task manager for literally years. I tried Wunderlist, ToodleDo, ToDoist, and several others. What I was really looking for was unlimited subtasks, a strong outlining function, dependencies, notes, and seamless integration across desktop, tablet, and phone. I really needed a lightweight way to develop and manage multiple small projects. MLO finally gave me all of that. It’s easy and intuitive to use right out of the box, but has deep features. It’s not free, but it’s cheap for what it is. It’s well thought out, highly developed, and still easy to use. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a task manager to manage actual work.

Combine with desktop app for GTD power After reading "Getting Things Done" years ago, I found the best app out there to support the methodology was the MyLifeOrganized desktop version (before they had any mobile versions). You can add, edit, and revise tasks really quickly so it doesn’t get in the way. The iPhone app syncs perfectly and quickly with the desktop via the cloud or WiFi. I couldn’t ask for anything more, except for maybe a Mac version so I could use it at home.

The beauty of this app is the ability to create any combination of filtered lists. Like many GTDers, I’ve tried every todo app out there. There is not a more sophisticated, yet easy, outliner todo list in the market. The beauty of this app (and desktop companion) is the ability to create any combination of filtered lists, ensuring you see only the tasks you need to see in whatever situation or location you find yourself in. No other app gives you this much control. A "must buy" for any serious productivity fanatic.

My life is going through many changes this year, and I have so many different and conflicting priorities that I have to balance that it has been pretty overwhelming at times. MLO gives me nothing short of a flawless way to integrate the Franklin Covey time management system into my life and my technology. I use the desktop to create a master plan where I balance out all the conflicting tasks and priorities that are in my life right now. Just a quick edit to say everything I said way back in 2012 is still true but now the interface is much better. Very useful for busy and scatter brained people like me! Are you stressed? Find it hard to remember all those little things that you need to do? MLO could be a great way to keep track of all those little tasks that you might otherwise forget until it becomes urgent. I have used this for many weeks now and find myself adding things to my various to-do lists, both at work and home. I find myself a bit less stressed and becoming more efficient with my time! Good stuff!

So many features, but simple enough to manage any to do list. Best of Class With subtasks and folders and an automatic "Next Steps" list, this is the best task manager on the market. So many features, but simple enough to manage any to do list. Definitely worth a try!

It might have too many options, but that is also what makes it highly customizable. Long time user. In the never ending search for the perfect task and life management tool, I keep returning to MLO. I use it from the web, tablet and phone using the cloud sync. It might have too many options, but that is also what makes it highly customizable.

Flexibility makes this app one of the best. Great companion to the MLO desktop application (but works perfectly without as well), with several sync options. It’s almost as flexible as the desktop version, with many customization options. Flexibility makes this app one of the best.

You name it, is probably does it! Most powerful cross-platform To Do. Hierarchical lists, contexts and flags, the most flexible filtering, sorting and grouping, both due and start dates and times. The list of features goes on and on - you name it, is probably does it. Perfect for GTD or whatever system you prefer because it is so flexible.

Environment to "get things done" that is unmatched The syncronization between desktop and mobile creates an environment to "get things done" that is unmatched. The desktop is extremely powerful and ideal for data entry, processing, large reviews, etc. The mobile versions are great for execution -- the daily doing of tasks. Most competing programs, even if they do sync to a desktop version, limit the feature set to a "dumbed down" mobile version, whereas MLO has a powerful and nuanced desktop version that syncs the most important fields to the more streamlined mobile versions.

The ability to create subtasks is extremely useful! My Life Organized is awesome! My husband and I have both used MLO for several years now and have found it to be incredibly helpful. We use it to organize our daily tasks and to keep track of long-term goals as well. The ability to create subtasks is extremely useful! We have tried a number of other list keeping apps but find that MLO is by far the best! You won’t be disappointed.

Learning curve and pricey but powerful and unique. It can take a while to get used to and is so advanced that it can even feel a bit geeky. However, once you get into the habit, which can take a little work then you realise how powerful the system really is. The ability to create contexts such as location based triggers is really useful and quite unique.

You can use it in conjunction with Franklin Covey or any other hybrid system The functionality of the product is great. It’s well done and adapts to any scenario you need. You can use it in conjunction with Franklin Covey or any other hybrid system you personally enjoy. I use it on a Windows desktop, on my iPad, and on my iPhone. It works perfectly, and is very intuitive in terms of doing things. I have also had to contact their support center for an upgrade issue and the response was fast and very helpful. I have tried numerous to do lists / PIMs and this is the one that works brilliantly for me...

Can customize to YOUR way of working! I’ve tried many, many apps in search of a powerful, intuitive way to manage tasks and lists. MyLifeOrganized is the best. Very flexible. Responsive developer. Can customize to YOUR way of working. Multi-platform: I sync my data to windows version and iPad version using their cloud service so I can do heavy data entry and organization from laptop and can work from task lists and outlines on iPhone and iPad. It is so powerful and flexible!

MLO has allowed me to dramatically increase my productivity in all areas of my life. I just wanted to say Thank you MyLifeOrganized. The seamless syncing with my phone and tablets means that where ever I am, the master plan is never more than a few steps away. This has allowed me to virtually eliminate wasted time as well as dramatically increase my productivity in all areas of my life.

No more feeling overwhelmed for me I fully recommend MLO for anyone who is looking for a solid way to manage their tasks and keep them in sync between the cloud and one or more desktops, laptops, and mobile devices like your smartphone and tablet. The best part about it is that it doesn’t matter whether you use Franklin Covey’s time management system, like I do, or GTD, or TRO, or if you don’t use one of the time management systems out there and you just do it your way; the way MLO was designed makes it very easy to set up and get going no matter which method you use,

You really know how to code well As a long-time user, I must say I am continually amazed at how well-programmed your applications (Desktop, Android) are. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

It’s very well written and has so many hidden gems I’m constantly surprised. I rarely provide feedback about software however I have to say this is the most well thought-out task management application I have ever seen (I think I’ve tried most all of them). I hope this will be in active development for a long time because I’m excited to dive in and switch everything I’ve been using to manage tasks, goals, projects, checklist, procedures, etc. to this single application. It’s very well written and has so many hidden gems I’m constantly surprised.

How happy I was when I discovered MLO! First of all: thank you for MLO! It’s the only tasking system so far that has allowed me to organise and structure tasks the way I feel is required. I had almost given up on finding one, so you can imagine how happy I was when I discovered it. I’m also happy to understand that you’re actively developing your product. I wanted to voice this happiness, because it’s really sad to get invested in a system before discovering the developers don’t actually listen to feedback. I think it’s great that you do.

MLO helps keep me on track and getting things DONE! Best App for GTD and Task Management MLO is simply the absolute best task management app. I have tried SO many, and each one has had some positive, but many negative aspects. MLO combines all the features I want in a robust task management system. If you’re a list lover, then you will love MLO. If you follow the GTD system then this is by far the best app to use to collect and manage your stuff. I am so much more productive with my time when I am organized and directed.

If your life is hectic then this is the best project/task management application. BEST ToDo & Time Mgt. If you are a power todo person, or your personal or business life is chaos, then this is your best solution. If you have simple lists, then there are many, less expensive and far less complex, todo programs available work great. If your life is hectic and you are juggling many work / professional tasks and/or projects, then this is the best project/task management application.

On Android it’s very strong and robust. Great GTD tool I’m a multi platform user and having the option to see my data on many platforms is a big plus to me. I can only compare it with OmniFocus on the Apple platform. MLO has much more features and ways of using it. It unavoidably lacks simplicity but that’s not a problem for power users. Windows version needs some interface improvements but I’m sure this will take place over the time. On Android it’s very strong and robust. I’m moving over all my data to MLO these days and I will be able to say more in depth.

Great App & Flexible To My Wandering Style I love this app. I at times go through focus and less-focused periods in my task management style (I hope that is what happens to others). This app allows me to change it to the prevalent time management style of the period I am in my life. I do really appreciate that, it can be incredibly detailed and it can be just a simple task management tool. I have only to change how I use it.

Great for imperfect perfectionists - If I only focus on one thing at a time, I know I can do it! I am a recovering perfectionist. I used to look at the long list of things I have to do and get overwhelmed to the point of inaction. My thoughts were, "I can’t finish all of this perfectly, so why bother trying?" Nothing would get done! The best feature of this app for me is the active task list. When I make my huge list of things that need to be done, I just set it and leave it there. The only thing I look at is the next item on my active list. Since I choose to complete sub tasks in order, I only see one at a time. This has cured me! 😂 If I only focus on one thing at a time, I know I can do it!

At last ! Continuity between devices! This is a great app that is the first one I have tried, and I have tried many, that gives me continuity between all my devices with full functionality and little to no conscious manipulating and reconciling. The ability to zoom in and focus on a specific aspect or context lets you get as granular as you want without dealing with distracting tree structure sprawl. Love this app,

MLO is for serious GTDoers (and others too) I haven’t yet found a need this app doesn’t meet. Works elegantly with a variety of time/task management methodologies. Synchronization with the superlative desktop software is seamless (so far). After extensive research MLO came out on top as the most robust platform for Windows/iOS (plus other devices I don’t use). On the desktop side I was able to import several thousand tasks from my previous decade-old tool. Icing on the cake for me is the PocketMod feature (Windows desktop) that let’s me create folded paper booklets with selected tasks, projects, whatever! I’ve been doing that for years now and will be able to maintain with MLO. So many powerful options while keeping the fundamentals easy and accessible. Nice work!

Lots of punch and very flexible I have a very particular way to organize my tasks which involves sorting by importance and urgency then using that sorted list to highlight my targeted tasks for the day. This app auto sorts that list and lets me highlight the day’s work to be accessed in a separate view uncluttered by the master list. Also the recurring task flexibility is second to none. Get the desk version, sync with your mobile device, start modestly so you don’t burn out and you will find this app will become your #1 task manger.

I am looking forward to seeing upcoming compatibility with Apple Watch. It would be awesome to see alerts and be able to capture on the fly with my watch. MLO does have a learning curve, but the time spent can save you countless hours later. It would have been nice if there were more video tutorials available when I was learning, but that, like everything else with MLO, is constantly improving. If you need to simplify and manage a highly complex life, I HIGHLY recommend MLO.

PERFECTION! Love this app! I am using MLO 2 on a Note 5, and found it to be precisely what I’ve been looking for in an app. I use David Allen’s Getting Things Done system of organization which itself is phenomenal, but I could not find any software that would run his system exactly the way I wanted it done...until now. PERFECTION!

Awesome!! I’ve been a fan of Omni for a few years now, but due to a career change, I found myself in an industry that is dominated by Windows. As a result, I was looking for a project manager that was robust, customizable and had platforms on Windows & Apple. I’m happy to say MyLifeOrganized has exceeded my expectations & opened another vista for project management. The app isn’t simple; my learning curve will keep ramping up the more I use it. But, the more I use it, the more I love it. This is an awesome app!

Mobile mirrors what I see on my PC, and the two stay synched and useful MLO Android finally gets it! I’ve been using My Life Organized for years on my laptop, and it holds ALL of my organization and to-do structure. However, the mobile version was always weak and not worth my time. No longer! Customizable views make drilling down to the important stuff a snap. I’ve been using MyLifeOrganized 2 on an iPad for over a year and now have it on a new iPhone. It’s one of the best tools I’ve invested in for the mobile devices and definitely recommend it. I love the collapsible outline and being able to group tasks in folders or setting them up as subtasks. Customizable views make drilling down to the important stuff a snap. I also like the ability to use multiple work spaces and how easy it is to move things around on the outline. The cloud sync service makes keeping everything up-to-date between the phone and iPad much easier and convenient.

This actually works the way YOU want it to! Rather than conform to a pre-set program convention, MLO is powerful enough to allow you to make use of its tools they way your mind thinks. You can go from a simple to-do to a sophisticated GTD scheme complete. With contexts. This means you will use it past the first week and can modify it to better meet your situation as it evolves (more responsibilities). It’s free to use the basic functions, but you will find it worthwhile to purchase the professional version to take advantage of its powerful tools and capabilities.like the cloud synchronization.

Terrific cross platform to do app that is flexible to my specific needs. MLO for desktop PC and iOS is a really great system that does everything other to-do apps don’t do. It seems all the others have at least one major flaw, eg, these don’t do sub-tasks or these do sub-tasks but don’t sync cross platform. Etc. And so, so, so many other apps seem to be trying too hard to be the next Silicon Valley unicorn, resulting in a bunch of flashy apps that are strangely generic. MLO seems focused on one thing and one thing only: making a terrific cross platform to do app that is flexible to my specific needs.

If you are looking for the most sophisticated task management system with multi-platfrom support, this is your app! Another Excellent Implementation I am a long-time user and fan of MLO on both Windows and ios platforms. I have been waiting for the V2 implementation on Android. Flexible sync to PC and/or cloud plus a powerful UI makes it great. Best outliner V2 is even better. I’ve looked through all the outliners and task managers I could find and this one seems to be the winner. Flexible sync to PC and/or cloud plus a powerful UI makes it great. Been using this for years. Still needs more fine-tuning of common actions but it’s better than anything else, well worth the cost.

It has something for everyone MLO in short has exhaustive options for reminders, snooze, task reiteration and auto Next Action (GTD). It can be used as multi colored to-do to much complex hierarchical, inter dependent, auto triggering task generations. Custom view, custom filters with universal search. All of these features are described in help files of the Desktop version, somewhere. I appreciate it more when I will see user friendly video tutorials for complex task structures with examples. Overall it has something for everyone.

It’s options and flexibility are extraordinary I think this app is fabulous. I have it installed on my Windows desktop, my android and my iPad. It’s options and flexibility are extraordinary and I think it is as good if not better than Omnifocus on the Mac. I love how tasks be set up in a hierarchical structure, Multiple contexts can be used per task, tasks can be made depended on other tasks and there can be custom filters set up. I also like the fact that after the task are set up the actual doing of the tasks falls back to a list format which for me adds greater usability.

Excellent implementation of GTD I have used MLO off and on for the past 5 years, mostly concentrating on the PC and synching to MS Outlook. The reason I have been off and on was I created tasks in Outlook, and then synched them to MLO. I loved the flexibility of MLO, but always got discouraged by creating tasks twice, and the inevitable synch errors between the two systems. Just recently I decided to break loose from Outlook tasks (and got away from MS OneNote) and switch to My Life Organized and Evernote (and using TaskClone as the glue), and I think I have found the best system I can imagine. I keep most notes in Evernote (either direct or using a Evernote Moleskine notebook. I mark tasks in Evernote, and then TaskClone sends the task to MLO via email. I do all my task management in MLO, and I could not be happier. I use MLO on my PC, my iPad, and my iPhone and life is good.

It has been really helpful to me for keeping track of all my tasks I have been using MLO for a few months, and have loads still to learn about it, but I think it is a great program and it has been really helpful to me for keeping track of all my tasks. Great List App! First time I’ve ever used a ToDo list app that I’ve actually wanted to stick with for the long haul. Generally after awhile I find something annoying that the app doesn’t do and I just give up on it. But this one has almost every feature I could possibly imagine and *then* some. I actually used it every single day of the trial period and then bought it for the enhanced features after the trial was over. My favorite of all is the password protection for my lists with sensitive information. I haven’t been able to find another app that does that. Also I like how I can set a list to visually show me my progress to completion.

Happy customer! Developers are focusing on usability improvements rather than adding more and more features. Have used MLO for at least 7 years now. Started with the Win version and started using the iOS versions since they appeared. MLO 2 for iPhone was a huge improvement over V1 and awaited eagerly the iPad upgrade. It’s finally here! Biggest difference between v1 and v2 is the user interface - although I got used to v1 interface after a while, it was not nearly as intuitive as v2 is. MLO has always been a feature-full task manager - I, for one, find use for most of the features, but am not craving for many more - would prefer developers to focus on making usability improvements rather than adding new features.

MLO is the best GTD tool anywhere I’ve tried many tools over the past decade to support my GTD practice. MLO is the only tool I’ve found that supports GTD in every way, across all my devices, different operating systems, and different connectivity scenarios. One of the most appealing aspects of MLO is in its flexibility. As my GTD practice has evolved and matured, so has MLO. The very supportive user community around this product has been stellar. My only small complaint is the somewhat long development cycles across platforms. Nonetheless, there is nothing even in the same class as MLO if you’re serious about really living the GTD lifestyle.

You can create goals and have an outline of todos working towards these goals. I have both, the iPad and the desktop version of MLO. Even though I use the desktop version most of the time, I like that I can take all my todos with me on my iPad. And the iPad app looks nice and clean and is easy to use. I like that MLO is more than a simple todo list. You can create goals and have an outline of todos working towards these goals. Then you can sort todos and work on the most urgent ones first. Very useful!

Best task and supporting app for work and busy life Found this app to be very useful over the years. Enables me to manage my work and to-dos in a structured way and for that matter, in various ways to make it simple or as complex as one wants to manage tasks, projects and activities over time. Also the fact that I can run from any device, knowing I have cloud backup is reassuring and seamless. Appreciate the efforts by the developer for continuously to evolve this program with good/useful updates.

Great GTD app for organizing work I’ve switched from Omnifocus because I’m now required to use Windows and I am pleasantly surprised about this app. Very customizable and great to work with, it’s become my new GTD app. There was a small learning curve but not too bad with the manuals guidance. Highly recommended.

Maybe now I can finally finish my craft projects!! I have tried out several to do, task list, and project manager apps, this one is by far the best one I’ve found. Extremely comprehensive, well laid out, let’s me give a due date for each step in a project, has a progress bar for each project, exactly what I was looking for to finally get my unfinished craft projects organized and finished.

The app is easy to use but has such a wealth of sophisticated features MLO is amazing. The app is easy to use but has such a wealth of sophisticated features that you’d think you were using a desktop app on your device. For example the outlining function alone is head and shoulders above even dedicated iOS outlining applications with hoisting and filtering, and custom views. No other task manager is even in its league.
