This Privacy Policy sets out how MyLifeOrganized ("we" or "us"), may collect, use, and disclose personal information obtained by us, in connection with your use of our website, applications and services (we will collectively refer to all these as “Services”) we operate.

Along with the personal information, this Privacy Policy describes our policy regarding data you may store on the MyLifeOrganized Cloud Sync Server ("Content"). Content includes tasks, notes, and other data that you choose to include.

If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use our Services or interact with any other aspects of our business.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions and MyLifeOrganized Sync Service Privacy Policy, which are accessible at MyLifeOrganized unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection

We are using forms in which you give us contact information (such as your name, address, phone number, billing information and email address) so you can create an account, place orders, register application and request support help. We also collect the email addresses of users who contact us via email and information submitted through voluntary activities such as site registrations or participation in surveys. Your information is only used internally and won't be shared with others. We collect and hold only the user data necessary for using and delivering our Services.

You should be aware that any information you provide to us in a publicly accessible area (for example, on a blog or forum that we operate) may be read, collected and used by others who access it. Please be careful about what you post there. To request removal of your personal information from there, contact us at support@mylifeorganized.net.

We may also gather information that does not enable identification of individual persons which includes technical information transmitted by the end user's device, including approximate location, IP address, software and hardware specifications (such as browser type and version, operating system, version), language preferences, visited pages and time stamps. It helps us improve our Services and make your browsing and service usage experiences more enjoyable. Certain types of collection and use may be optional.

Information Usage

The user data we collect is used to:

  • enable you to purchase and manage our Services;
  • provide you with customer support;
  • send you critical updates and other important information to facilitate your use of our Services;
  • analyze usage and trends with anonymous user data to improve the quality of our service and your experience with us.
  • If you have subscribed to our newsletter you may stop receiving it at any time by following the unsubscribe-link that is in the newsletter itself.

    We will never share your personal data with a third party without your prior authorization, and we will never sell data to third parties.

    Log Data

    We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we may collect data and information (through third party products) on your device called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device IP address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

    We use information gathered via log files to help diagnose problems with our Services. You can disable logging in the application’s settings at any time.

    Cookies

    Cookies are required to use MyLifeOrganized website. We do not use cookies for profiling or advertising. We use cookies to collect information and provide you with an enhanced user experience. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Services.

    No Ads

    We do not partner with any ad server companies and don't use your data for any commercial purposes.

    Service Providers

    We may work with third-party service providers to provide website and application development, hosting, maintenance, networking, storage, payment processing, analysis and other services for us. We want to inform users of our Services that these third parties have access to personal information only to the extent needed to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. They are obligated to abide by policies and procedures designed to protect your information and are prohibited from disclosing or using the information for any other purpose.

    Security

    We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information and Content, thus we are striving to use a number of tools and measures, as well as internal procedures and strict guidelines to prevent information misuse or disclosure. We store and maintain your Personal Information and Content you upload in secure environments that are not available to the public. Your Content synced through the MLO Cloud is protected both online and offline. Our employees and contractors access the information on a "need-to-know" basis and subject to confidentiality obligations. MyLifeOrganized Cloud Sync administrators do not access the Content you upload unless you specifically request them to do so.

    All data transmitted with our Services is secured by SSL protocol. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

    If a password is used for account or data protection, it is your responsibility to keep it in secret. Do not share it with anyone.

    MyLifeOrganized only shares Personal Information and/or Content if it requested by a legal authority as required or permitted by law.

    We reserve the right to transfer your personal information and Content in the event of a transfer of ownership of MyLifeOrganized, such as acquisition by or merger with another company. We will ensure the confidentiality of any personal information and/or Content involved in such transactions. In such an event, MyLifeOrganized will notify you before information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

    How Long MyLifeOrganized Stores Information

    We retain your personal information for the Services for as long as you are an active user and thereafter unless you request deletion (see "Your Rights" below for further information). You can voluntarily stop using our Services at any time. In that case all of your personally identifiable information is placed in "deactivated" status within our corresponding databases. However, deactivation of your account does not mean your personally identifiable information has been deleted from our database entirely. But it may be immediately deleted upon request.

    We also retain and use some of your information for as long as necessary to resolve disputes and/or enforce our rights and agreements. Non-personally identifiable and aggregated information that is used for research or statistical purposes may be stored indefinitely.

    If you delete your Content locally and then sync with the MLO Cloud, it will no longer be accessible to you or others who may access the Service. We maintain backups of Content in order to recover from hardware failures or other problems. These backups are stored for up to one year due to the nature of such systems’ operations.

    Your Rights Regarding the Personal Data You Provide to Us

    If you are an Individual and a resident of a country that is part of the GDPR, the following information applies.

    In processing personal information we rely on the following legal bases, depending on the circumstances: (i) your affirmative consent, in which case you will have the right to withdraw consent at any time; (ii) contractual necessity; or (iii) our legitimate interest in providing the Services.

    Your data is yours and in most cases you can manage it directly within the MyLifeOrganized Services. However, if you wish, you can contact us at support@mylifeorganized.net to exercise your rights described below. We may ask you for proof of account or service ownership when we receive a request from you to ensure the security of your personal information.

    Under applicable data protection legislation, in certain circumstances, you have rights concerning your personal data when you use our Services:

    a. Right of access. Most of this data can be reviewed in your MLO Cloud account panel and related products/services that you have purchased. You can also request a copy of all your personal data that we store.

    b. Right to rectification. If you want to correct your personal data, depending on the Service it is associated with, you may do it by accessing your MLO Cloud account, submitting a request on our website or contacting our Support.

    c. Right to erasure. You can request the permanent deletion of your data. However, please note that exercising this right may result in a deactivation of certain Services and is also governed by legal and/or contractual retention guidelines.

    d. Right to restriction, or object to processing. If you believe we don't have the appropriate rights to use, store and otherwise process your personal data, you may request limited use or deletion of your personal data. For example, if you believe a Services account was created for you without your permission or you are no longer an active user, you can request us to delete your account as provided in this policy. Please note that, depending on the request, this may result in a deactivation of certain Services.

    e. Right to opt out of communications. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails and newsletters from us by using the unsubscribe link within each email.

    Personal information we collect may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which we or our partners maintain facilities. In these cases, we take the necessary safeguards to ensure that we are GDPR compliant when transferring data to and/or from the third party.

    Third Party Websites

    MyLifeOrganized may contain links to other websites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

    Children’s Privacy

    These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

    Changes to This Privacy Policy

    We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
